Physical exercise (1-3 years)

Encourage activities involving the movement of large muscle groups.

Go to play areas safe for physical activity. Try not to permit long periods of inactivity.

Children under 2 years old shouldn´t watch TV, and older children shouldn´t watch more than 2 hours a day.

Keep TV out of the children´s bedroom.

At this age, children should sleep for at least 11 hours a day.
